Bruce Carson’s Disappearing Websites, Part 3: School of Public Policy

In the fourth installment of my Disappearing Bruce Carson series, I want to point out a website that hasn’t disappeared, but has made Carson disappear. It’s the University of Calgary School of Public Policy, an institution where Bruce Carson was, until recently, a visiting fellow and adjunct professor. Along with right-wing propagandists Jack Mintz (now an “academic”) and Tom Flanagan, and conservative but genuine academic David Bercuson, Carson was expected to be one of the school’s core instructors. Now he’s gone without a trace from this page:

It’s hard to take the School of Public Policy seriously, not least because they have made Mintz the head of it. Under the guidance of a Fraser Institute fundraiser, Barry McNamar, they have taken the distinctively unusual step of posting a Research for Sale page, according to which $1.2 million will buy you a lecture series, and anywhere from $200,000 to $1 million per year will buy you a whole research centre.
