Wednesday’s Reading
March 29th, 2011
- The media has noticed that a Conservative aide currently being investigated by the RCMP for interference in access to information requests, Sebastien Togneri, is now working for Tory candidate Ryan Hastman. They haven’t yet noticed the far more serious matter, as I have, that Doug Finley, also known as Senator Twit, is working in the Tory war room while being charged with elections fraud.
- As usual, some of the nuttier Conservative candidates are beginning to draw attention to themselves. One in Winnipeg, Shelly Glover, declared yesterday that a 68-year-old opponent was “passed her expiry date” and should be tossed in favour of “fresh blood.” I wonder if she feels the same way about the older members of her own party. - Another “Right-Wing Writers Needed” ad appeared today on Craigslist. If it is a prank, they’re sure persistent.
