Dishon. Rona Ambrose Lies to Parliament, Must Resign Immediately
The following are the words of the Dishonourable Rona Ambrose, Member of Parliament for Edmonton-Spruce Grove and Minister of Public Works and Government Services, spoken in the Parliament of Canada on the subject of the recent Auditor-General’s report indicating that the government lied to Parliament and the nation about the true cost of the F-35 jet fighter:
our government believes very strongly that the Auditor General’s recommendations and conclusions were accurate, and we agree with them.
On the other hand, the following is also a statement from the Minister of Public Works and Government Services, submitted in writing (one assumes) and reported by the Auditor-General:
Public Works and Government Services Canada disagree with the conclusions set out in paragraphs 2.80 and 2.81.
Liar. Please leave Parliament now.
And take the Speaker with you, if he turns out to be the disgustingly incompetent, cowardly, negligent cretin that I suspect he will show himself to be very shortly by allowing a documented liar to remain unsanctioned by the House. Which I believe based on the strength of statements like this:
It is not up to the chair to determine the accuracy of statements.
You’re right. The real purpose of the chair of a majority Parliament is to sit in a fancy chair, look pompously important despite your tender years, and attempt to contain the damage done by the corrupt, lying government which may be found seated immediately to your right.

Poor Rona the empty-headed ditz. Now she’s appointed to clean up the F-35 mess. I loved former aquisitions chief Williams’ take on her. He said she’s “inept”, “incompetent” and totally unfit for the job Harper has given her. Then again if Harper fired every cabinet minister who was abjectly stupid and every minister who was hopelessly corrupt, there’d be no cabinet. In fact there’d be no prime minister either.

I can honestly say that I am totally revolted by the state of our government, especially the PM. After serving my country as a soldier for almost 40 years, it sickens me to hear the lies and to witness the ongoing corruption in our government. I love my country but I am ashamed of our government. What an example they are setting with their total lack of integrity or honour!!!

Sam — Sorry your former service is taking the rap on this one. Assuming the military staff functions anything like the civil service, I find it wildly unlikely that the Cabinet was somehow hoodwinked out of $10 billion.
